This was my third visit to this quirky little restaurant for lunch, and it continues to impress every time. Although the restaurant is small, the food is absolutely exceptional and consistently exceeds expectations. I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming, which makes the overall experience even more enjoyable. And whatever you do, make sure to order the bread with duck butter, it is absolutely divine!!!! A true hidden gem that is well worth seeking out.

Been a while since I was last here, was always excellent before and still is. 18:00 sitting on a Monday booked out, people without reservations being turned away at the door. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Chilli prawn risotto and the sea bass were my picks (and I don't often eat fish as a main) and both were top class. Many customers availed of BYOW (Mon - Wed). Service, ambiance and music all excellent. Can't wait to get back.

I cannot fault them. Food and service was first class. Even the choice of background music ticks the boxes for me at a personal level. We were part of a group of 14 for a business lunch but I will be back. Maybe the price of duck might appear a bit steep for lunch but that's only if you are interested.

I've been a regular visitor for years to the The Vintage Kitchen. Whenever I am in Dublin, I try to make a point of having a meal there, and it never disappoints. This time was no different. Always greeted with a smile by the excellent staff, the place is busy and has a warm and bustling ambience, and the food was amazing. I had the Sea Bass with an Asian emulsion, which was delicicious, and my friends heartily enjoyed their blackened salmon and chowder, plus the freshly toasted almonds and warm bread rolls with duck butter as a starter. Again, a great experience, and looking forward to my next visit already.

In particular, the grilled tuna, which was the special of the day, was cooked to perfection and demonstrated the highest level of technique in what is known as "tataki" in Japan. In Japan, tuna is mainly eaten as sashimi, and occasionally lightly grilled, but I had never before tasted tuna cooked to the point where the centre was just slightly cooked without any fishy smell, as it was in this dish. This time, I focused on fish dishes, but if I have the opportunity to visit again, I would like to try the meat dishes as well. Additionally, the space is quite compact, so having a bit more room to sit comfortably would be a nice improvement.
