Our first visit for a couple of years and we weren't disappointed. The menu has changed a little, with less South African influence, but tapas were tasty and large - go for three per person only if you are ravenous. Service as ever was impeccable. Thank you. We’ve dined here several times and we are always impressed with the quality of food. Tonight the anchovies, croquetas, biltong and chicken skewers were just outstanding (the other dishes we had were amazing too) We literally cannot stop talking about it! Good quality Spanish/South African Tapas. Lovely relaxed, family run dining room with an informal ambiance. Staff were warm and friendly, advised on dishes and made recommendations. Food arrived quickly and was of good, authentic quality. Prices are a little high, however this is the case throughout central Edinburgh, so no complaints and would highly recommend!

I booked at 5pm fir a pre theatre show. So it was very quiet, hence the ambience was a little stark. However service was prompt, very informed and very pleasant. The tapas we shared were delicious. The garlic prawns done to perfection, the patatas bravas delicious in a spicy sauce. Lovely little restaurant.

Wife and I have now been twice. We don't eat out a lot and we came back because we remembered we quite liked it. I would say that is still true, but I must say I wouldn't rate any of the dishes we had last night as a stand out. I didn't feel a rush of flavours; maybe they were too subtle for me. If someone else was organising a meal out for a party I was in, and enthusiastic about coming to Indaba, I'd have absolutely no problem coming. But if I was organising, I'd probably try one of the other 1500 restaurants in Edinburgh I haven't been to!
