Another lovely meal at Indaba. Every dish was fabulous, but especially our old favourites of Queso de cabra and sosaties. Coupled with great service as ever it's one of our favourite places to eat in Edinburgh.

We have eaten here several times now as it is a 1 minute walk from the Cameo cinema. It is consistently excellent and great value for money. We have never had a mediocre dish - the food has always been very good. If you are looking at the menu online, that is only part of the story, every time we have visited there has been a wide choice of other options on their daily 'specials' blackboard. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Delicious dishes with board specials. Selection of sherries and wins from the 2 countries. Simple things like the patatas bravas sauce was exquisite. Manager was very attentive and discussed menu and drinks with great suggestions. Unusual to find a tapas restaurant in the UK and mixing of spainish and south Africa cuisine. Good for vegetarians , vegan options limited. Slightly pricey for the portions provided.

We love Asian Indian food and we were really looking forward to our dinner at Indaba. We were not disappointed. The service was superb. The waitress was ready to take our drink order shortly after we sat down. We had some nice snacks with Prosecco, before ordering our dinners. We also ordered a bottle of delicious Italian red wine to pair with our spicy food. The garlic naan that came to our table was enormous! The lamb biryani was delicious and plentiful. The chicken masala was also delicious. Thank you for a lovely experience. When a bee flew into our wine bottle and did not exit, we asked our server if he would replace it. The owner kindly opened a new bottle of Italian red wine for us, with no extra charge to us. Thank you for a most enjoyable experience.

It was superb. Quite unexpected as it isn’t exactly a stunning location or shop front but wow what brilliant food and delightful service. We had 6 tapas between two and a very decent ( but reasonably priced) bottle of SA wine followed by sorbet and cheese board. We need to go back and try the rest of the menu and see if we can find something that isn’t delicious. I suspect we won’t. In some ways, I’d rather keep this restaurant a secret but that would be very selfish.

Our latest experience was an excellent one as you can see by our ratings. There have been other times, however, when people at a table for six were speaking in very loud voices. It spoils the experience for diners at other tables who can't hear each other speak. It's a difficult problem because you don't want to offend anyone.
