- Yes we do, so long as they remain seated with their adults. This is for concerns of health and safety and so the pub can be enjoyed by everyone.

- Yes we are. Dogs must remain on the lead at all times.
- What times are you serving food?
- Tuesday 4-9pm Wednesday 4-9pm Thursday 4-9pm Friday 2-9pm Saturday 12-9pm Sunday 1-8pm

- That means we are closed or fully booked, however, we always keep a few tables aside for walk ins!

Portobello Tap is the best pub in Edinburgh. The staff are lovely to a fault, the good is great, the beers unbeatable. Topped off by a nice atmosphere and vibe, non-territorial regulars. And so rare to find reasonable food prices these days!

Staff were really friendly and food was great. It was particularly good value because we went during on of their regular (I think Monday - Wednesday) "burger + pint" promotion periods. Also very dog friendly place (pretty important in Porty!).

Great little pub with a lot of atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, the burgers all meat, so properly made - so glad there weren’t the frozen ones!
All in all it was a cozy little place, perfect to watch the rugby. The Merlot was served at the ideal temperature! We’ll be back!

Really great place for a drink. Staff are very friendly and choice of drinks is excellent. Even with social distancing there was a nice vibe and everyone seemed pretty chilled and happy. Excellent interpretation of the ‘new rules’ made us feel very safe and the whole thing was very well organised regarding booking, table settings and cleanliness. Highly recommend!

A great hidden beer garden tucked away behind Holyrood Park. Fantastic atmosphere, with ample seating and great beer. Prices are reasonable, and staff were very friendly. The only improvements I would suggest would be to have some music, and perhaps a BBQ. Will definitely be back!!
