Really lovely staff, it was clear from the outset that they really cared for our experience. We love tapas so were really excited and the food did not disappoint for the most part. It was a shame we both felt The patatas bravas was pretty average compared to other tapas bars but the chorizo and pork cheek made up for it. Thanks for the lovely evening

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Tapas 3 as the variety and quality of the food was excellent - our only difficulty was deciding what to choose! All of the people in the restaurant were clearly enjoying their evening. The atmosphere was lively and happy. From arrival to departure your taste buds will be tantalised. This is some of best Tapas we have ever run. Not only is the food and drinks amazing but the fully family run team are so special. They make you feel at home at once with warm Spanish and Scottish hospitality. Don’t miss this place on a visit to Edinburgh. We have already been back and send many guests here who are just glowing with their feedback. A fantastic addition to the exuberant Edinburgh restaurant scene. If you fancy watching or trying out some flamenco then co-located is a Flamenco dance hall. You will not be disappointed.

We are 4 tall people (2 of which are rather stocky) so being at a table that did not have much room for the seating was a disappointment.

I was attracted to this restaurant by the excellent ratings on Trip Advisor and they weren’t wrong. The tapas that I had were delicious - Catalan bread topped with tomatoes, the king prawns which were succulent in the rich garlicky sauce, the meatballs which were delicious in the sauce with carrots and peas and the aubergine which was cooked perfectly. To finish I had the cheese board with quince jelly and walnuts which made for a great end to my meal. To top it all the service was excellent. I’ll certainly be back on my next trip to Edinburgh.

I didn’t know anything about this place before booking and there is not much else in the street but it was handy for going to a show at the Pleasance. However I was very taken with the restaurant and the helpful staff. We ordered a cocktail, a glass of wine and some tapas to share. Really enjoyed our lovely meal at Tapas3. There was plenty dishes to choose from and what we had was delicious. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright. A special mention goes out to our waitress, unfortunately we never asked her name but she was very helpful and friendly. This was our first visit and we shall certainly be back.

Everything about Tapas 3 is terrific. We went to the flamenco show which was fab and then ate in the restaurant. The food was amazing - especially the black pudding and goats cheese, the family who own and run the place a we met and chatted with Grandma, who was visiting, nephew and cousin. Off the beaten track but you still need to book. You will miss out if you don’t go. Enjoy and have fun.

Absolutely fabulous experience. We eat out in Edinburgh a lot and this is one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a long time. The tapas was tremendous, a special shout out to the black pudding and goats cheese dish, the best I have ever tasted. The sangria was delightful and the staff were so nice and friendly. I have nothing to say about what needs improved, says it all really, first class 10/10.
