The lobster pot was a great little seafood restaurant, the owner was awesome we had a reservation at 5:45 and we stopped in around 4:30 after finishing up at blackness castle to see if we could get a b earlier reservation. He took us right on with put a problem! Bonus he made an awesome freshly made in house ginger beer that was just the right amount of spur that made my mouth picked. Would go again next time we holiday in Scotland!

This lovely quirky restaurant is a great place to have a meal, lots of things to look at regards the sea . The service is very good, our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food was good , I judge a restaurant on the quality of their chips ,which were good ,they must be crispy outside and soft inside ,and theses were so they can tolerate a douching of vinegar. Only a few tweaks, when serving Caesar salad it would be better if the dressing was on the side, and do not heat up apple pie in the microwave , it makes the pastry soft, but these are only minor. I will definitely be back.

Been to the Lobster Pot a few times already and never disappoints! Marvelous food for accessible prices (unlike the crazy ones found in Edinburgh), lovely staff and the atmosphere is just magical! Started going due the Castle being close but now go mainly to take people from abroad to try the food there. The chef was kind enough to prepare the traditional haggis so my friends from Portugal could have a taste! My deepest appreciation! You can expect my return down the line at one point. Best wishes to all the staff members!
