I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chibog, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles.
The menu had so many delicious options to choose from, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The flavours were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was stunning. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and it was clear that the chef put a lot of thought and care into every plate.
In addition to the fantastic food, the service was also top-notch. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu - they designed the food to fit the Filo-Aussie taste and wow it's a dynamite of taste. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience.
Overall, I would highly recommend Chibog to anyone looking for a truly exceptional dining experience. I and my ASM Health Team can't wait to come back again soon!

Some of the food portions can be a little bit more for its price. Mains are mainly on the spot when it comes to taste. Appetiser is the biggest letdown esp the lumpiang sariwa - sauce is salty than sweet, and tastes like msg. Crispy pata, pansit malabon, sisig are perfect!

Presentation is great as well as customer service but the most important thing still (well at least for me) is still taste. Suggest revisiting your dishes. I found the crispy pata very bland and hard. The meat was very tough. Can use more seasoning and perhaps boil it for a longer time before deep frying. The skin was good though. The sisig was ok but can be tastier. Laing was too sweet and can use more chili. The crispy leche flan was spongier than expected. Would be great if the flan is creamier :) The lumpia was very good though!

Bigger bowls please. Stuffing that delicious kare kare meat in a smaller bowl + rice was a bit hard to manage. Also offer an extra bowl for bones and lime wedges where we can place it after use :). Other thank thank you! Finally a decent Filipino friends that I can take my non filipino friends

Second time visiting. Food and cocktails were super tasty just as we'd remembered, ambience was lively but still quiet enough that we could talk without having to yell. Service was at a really high standard although, once we'd finished our dishes, it seemed to take a while for someone to clear them and ask if we were interested in dessert. The staff went to other tables around us asking them if they wanted drinks etc and at one point a staff member brought over some tap water and glasses which we hadn't ordered, but they didn't clear any plates. This was only a minor issue in an overall amazing experience.

Chibog embodies the excellent service and warm hospitality Filipinos are known for. The menu, although short and simple, is representative of famous Filipino dishes. Food portions are good for sharing and are deliciously prepared. Our favorites are Crispy Pata, Sisig, Kinilaw na Tuna, Karekare, and garlic rice. Chibog also offers an array of drinks using tropical ingredients, Calamansi juice being the crowd favorite. Hopefully, more desserts will be added to the menu in the future. Overall, a great dining experience at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I noticed the entrance door was too close to customer's tables. I wouldn't enjoy my dining experience if the entrance door was close to my table and waiting guests looking at my table. It looked really squashed.

Firstly, I really appreciate that as a Filipino run business, the food was served quickly and are presented nicely. Your business is a good way to introduce our filipino food in a proper restaurant and professional environment.
I generally enjoyed it. If I was to say something to improve the overall experience, with the pricing, it would be appreciated if the servings are slightly more (not too much that it changes the status level).
I would also like to see Chibog expanding the space for dining (if that is all possible) - maybe the backyard? Have the AlFresco dining feeling. It could be that dining is at the back and Bar only at the front?
It would also be good if when you are unable to answer the phone, that it has a message or something to allow the callers to know that calls will be returned. Sorry for the 10 million calls I left.
I would love to see Chibog flourish and be the place I could recommend for any celebrations.
And maybe some Pina Colada added to your cocktails :-)

We came in 5 minutes early but decided to go in anyways, have to ask for sanitisers after being seated. The vibe brings you back to the posh areas of Makati, a good dose of nostalgia. I must say the mini plate doesn't go well with spoon and fork. We can hardly eat with out spilling the food. And I can't help but miss the knife. Food is fine, but a bit underwhelming. We had ukoy for starters which is good. No bean sprouts like the original but actually fine, just not as crunchy as we expected. I ordered pork sisig and kare-kare for our mains, both I find small to be on the Big Plates category. The kare-kare sauce is spot on, the beans are undercooked though. The sisig has some chicharon above instead of egg, something new to me. A bit dry for my liking. For drinks, we had ube mocktail, looks good but tastes artificial. The halo-halo unfortunately is a disappointment. The dulce de leche doesn't do the leche flan justice. Sliced banana straight from the bottle, like damp paper on my mouth. Staff is nice, checks out from time to time. The place is generally clean and well maintained.

We ordered most of the items on the menu, like the Shanghai Spring Rolls, Chibok bok, Pork Sisig, Kare Kare, Adobong PakPak, but my favourite of the night was the Crispy Pata! that was extremely delicious, it had the correct amount of seasoning and a nice cripsy crunch to the skin. Thumbs up to the chefs!
I was also very pleased with the waiters and waitress that night, they were very helpful and attentative to our needs. They were also surprised us with ice-cream and candles for my mum's birthday, and a free shot to end the night!
I highly recommend anyone that's looking for a place to try filipino food, head to Chibog and you won't be disappointed. I'm definitely coming back again.

Loved the food and the service great ambience. Hoping they bring back the cake dessert the laing and pansit. It’s definitely my favourite Filipino restaurant in Melbourne as I don’t feel yuck and bloated after the meals like at other Filipino restaurants due to excessive oil in the food.
