As a run/cycle/walk group that has been stopping for coffee & cake at 2-3 different places every week (for decades, not years) we reckon we speak with some knowledge of what makes a good cafe! And Local Folk qualifies! Great coffee, fresh cakes & pastries and a very friendly and obliging crew - qualities that haven’t changed in the years we’ve been going there. An absolute favourite. And they know how to do a quality, Italian style, long black!

Our group of five all loved dining at Local Folk. We all ordered different meals and each one of us was full of positive comments about the food served. The slow-cooked pasta was especially admired, I loved the sweet potato fritters, but everyone left satisfied and looking forward to their next visit. Many thanks to Ash and all of the lovely staff.

We travelled from Williamstown, Brunswick and Rosanna to visit after finding you and consulting the website for menu details, and our dietary requirements included vegan and coeliac. The staff couldn't have been kinder or more helpful, it was cosy and inviting on a wintry day, and the food was delicious. Best almond latte and hot chocolate we ever had! Just slather more of that yummy fetta, mmm.
