The food was amazing, loved the Indonesian fusion. I had the Balinese pork belly burger and it was great, so hard to find good Balinese pork around here. I booked a table for my visiting parents and a family friend. We were all so happy with our meals. Mum said the coffee and smashed avo were the best she has ever had. Even dad, who is very fussy, loved the chai porridge. The teddy art on his hot chocolate made his day. I will be bringing all of my visiting friends and family to Operator 25. Fabulous!!

We had an amazing experience for a work lunch. Particularly liked the following:
- the large round table at front of restaurant comfortably sat 7 of us and felt private
- table was ready on our arrival and we were seated immediately (which is great when on a tight lunch break)
- service was friendly
- great range of meal options to suit a variety of dietary needs including good range of vegetarian and gluten free options
- menu was clearly marked with dietary options
- meals were all served at the same time
- meals very tasty, lovely presentation, good portion sizes
- table service was great
- table had lots of water jugs so we always had access to water
It was a 10/10 experience and I’ll definitely be booking the round table again soon for the next work function!

Me and my friends ordered matcha and the hojicha latte but we wanted it iced, which costs an extra dollar?? Then when it came, the glass was literally half filled which was quite disappointing because it costs $6.50. The food was pretty good but I think there are better brunch places in Melbourne which would be more worth it.

Great menu and food - service is definitely hard working but found we were asked 3 times in the space of 5 minutes for our order - asked for 5-10 minutes (had been waiting for coffee for 15 mins by this stage so advised we had ordered something but we’re doing the obligatory quick catch up before ordering) - had to flag someone down 15 mins later.
But very polite and can see they work quickly and efficiently - perhaps we were breaking house rules or because my partner was 15 mins late to booking and they wanted ti ensure we had enough time to eat etc.
This is really nit picky though - I absolutely loved being there and will 100% be back - have already told 3 people about it, so I’m pleased!
Quality of food, presentation, taste and value was outstanding.
Coffee, too, was delish!
2 other points of feedback I had:
1. Chairs with low backs was a bit scary for me-l kept laughing and almost falling off - that’s when I noticed everyone else was sat further out and leaning onto table.
Smart decision it seems.
2. Ambience was lively and fun but I did find it a bit challenging to hear my friend from across the table at times due to the noise.
I forgot to look but that may just be because of wooden floors? They tend to bounce sound around for some reason.
Anyways!
Great first time for me , I will definitely be back! Thanks for the great time!

It had a great atmosphere and decor and the wait staff were so lovely however there is a minimum spend which i don’t understand and also can’t justify, it was enough to put me off as a potential customer however everywhere else I tried to go I wasn’t able to book. The food and drinks were lovely, so tasty and fresh and my partner really savoured his batch brew coffee. The other issue was that the booking was only for 1 hour, this too was off putting but I was forced to concede and went anyway, unfortunately I’m not a native from Melbourne and I got us lost so we were 10-15 minutes late, it was made clear upon arrival that the booking was only 1 hour so we had lost time however the wait for the meals was a little long (normally not a problem to us) but this meant that by the time it came we had 10 minutes to scarf it down before the booking finished, we couldn’t manage it and so had to go over the allocated time, no one approached but the looks and glances of the booking staff and wait staff hovering to see if we were finished was uncomfortable. I understand there’s restraints due to COVID but a minimum amount spend, no split bills and only a 1 hour booking is off putting as a customer. Especially as the turn around for take away food and diners was fast. customers appreciate being thought of and accommodated, I would go there again but only if their policies were changed.

Nice place and food is good. However the bar seating is uncomfortable. There are no chairs with back rests. So it’s fine for a quick lunch. All seating is at shared tables which is not great for social distancing as you are sitting very close to the person next to you.
I found it uncomfortable to be so close to a stranger.

The food wasn't good and tasty at all. Both me and my friend had to waste what we ordered since it was so dry and the salmon had no flavour. I don't think I would visit you'll again after this bad experience
