Upstairs At Institution is a boutique cafe situated on the busy high street of Bedale and accessed via the Institution shop. Serving breakfast, lunch and more, the menus are made up of classic fresh dishes with a twist, served simply with the emphasis on quality ingredients. The cafe is also licensed, with a great wine list… a great place to relax as the world goes by, meet friends and take a little time for yourself.

We are a traditional country pub nestled in the delightful village of Great Ayton, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Originally a coaching inn, the pub dates back to the 17th century and oozes charm and character, with its original beams and cosy log fires.
