Opening Hours Mon-Wed 11am-5pm Fri-Sat 11am-8pm (closed 4-5pm) Here at Talla na Mara Restaurant we are doing our best to operate a sustainable, climate conscious environment. In our endeavours to reduce waste, we prepare all our meals to order. Our restaurant is relaxed and runs to a mellow pace. This is what we call ‘Harris Time’. Overlooking Uig Bay on the West Coast of the Isle of Lewis. The restaurant is a modern design by Dualchas Architects and has large windows spanning one wall to make the most of the view. The restaurant seat up to 40 and we also have a small shop where we hope to sell our smoked salmon, local craft and goodies. The restaurant offers fresh and local produce with an emphasis on local seafood. All diets will be catered for. Seumas Macdonald, who lives locally in Aird Uig, has been appointed as head chef.
