Fabulous dinner with friends.
Really appreciate the vegan options, she smart to label everything ( vegan, vegetarian, gluten free etc.) must save staff hours and I love it.

WOW! Maybe it was the fact that we have been quarantined for a year (plus) but I don’t think so! A warm day on the patio and a warm welcome from the staff started our lunch off right. The food was fabulous and the service matched! Thank you for making all the COVID accommodations and being there when we finally got vaccinated and ventured out into the world again. See you soon

The food is consistently outstanding at Tiqa. There are many vegetarian options, unlike other area restaurants which may have just one or none. The restaurant is spacious and stylish, waitstaff are attentive and friendly. It's never crowded and while it's nice not to have to wait, I am always surprised it's not packed because I think it's one of the best restaurants in Portland.

We enjoyed a really tasty and interesting lunch for 2 with very attentive service in a safe environment. The small mezze platter was terrific (the olives and the hummus were standouts). It would have been enough, but we also shared a very good beef shiskabab. Definitely worth a return visit.

It was my birthday, and it wasn't mentioned until the bill came in this way ~ Please give me (my friend talking) the bill, I'm taking my friend out for her birthday ~ we were getting ready to leave and the sweet waitress brought out a complimentary piece of delicious baklava on the house, on top on what was a delicious lunch.

Overall experiance was wonderful. Would recommend and will visit again. Food was superb. We were a little close to a large group of people with many empty tables available for a more intimate setting. Maybe a 'more private' option when making reservations for 2? Many wait staff seemed to be free yet our food explanation was only given to one of us and it fell upon us to refill wine glasses. Very minor inconveniences when compared to the entire experience. We had a wonderful time and will be back very soon.

Overall, we had a great experience at Tiqa. The food was better than I remembered (has been well over a year since I've dined there) and our server was great, pleasant and attentive. We sat on the patio, which was a bit shabby in comparison to the interior. We had a wood burning heater by our table, which seemed like a good idea, but we wreaked of smoke when we left. The seat warmers and blankets were a really nice touch though.

Overall our experience at TIQA was great. Not so much because of the food, but because of the excellent service. Our server was very nice. And since we were there for my son’s birthday, TIQA surprised us with a complimentary dessert that was delicious. The presentation of the Tiramisu was out of this world and made my son’s day!!

We had the appetizer sampler, stuffed grape leaves and a kebab platter. The food was plentiful and presented in an appealing way. The spice level was perfect and yummy. We were happy to be able to eat outside even though the ambiance at the front of the building on Commercial Street is pretty uninspiring. We had a sweet waitress and an interesting conversation. We will return the next time we are in Portland.

We had a wonderful time. I was asked, when booking online, if there was an occasion we we’re celebrating and I responded two birthdays. Nothing was mentioned by the waitress, although I’ve had similar experiences where one dessert was brought out. Also the hummus was extremely dry which was not how I remembered it from past dining experiences there. Otherwise the food was very good and the waitress was lovely.

The Baba Ganoush is phenomenal here. Their pita bread is delightful. Always good food and the staff is always accommodating. The hand sanitizer was thick and goopy and left a film on my hands I had to go wash off in the bathroom - I would recommend changing to a light more alcohol based formula if you are going to provide that.

Food was fabulous. When we first arrived, though, even though we had a reservation, the hostess seemed to look around for a table and then seated us next to a very loud large party. We had to ask to be moved because we couldn't hear each other talk at our own table. This took some time, but finally we were moved to a much quieter spot near the bar. After that, we had a wonderful time. Our server was delightful, and the food was such a wonderful mix of flavors and textures. Absolutely delicious!

We loved our visit to Tiqa last weekend! The service was exceptional and very friendly! My one piece of feedback would be the shrimp “kabob”. It tasted great and the presentation was excellent. However, it was only 2 medium sized shrimp. I expected it to be a few more. Other than that, superb!

Portion sizes for the regular kebab/skewer entrees were very small. Honestly too small especially for the prices charged (e.g., Kofta plate) . However, the special Cod entree was spectacular. Our reservation was not in the book, which was odd. Of course, no one else was there, so not a problem. It's very attractive and you've done a very good job with pandemic "rules." The service was very nice, but there was a machine in the kitchen which hampered conversation for one guest. The mezze sampler was quite good, but not so much the lamb...dry, and no seasonings! Best fries in the city, however.
