Entering Boulevard’s doors is like stepping inside of a Toulouse-Lautrec painting. With its elegant mosaics, stylized wood accents, and softly glowing atmosphere, designer Pat Kuleto has captured the romance of the iconic Parisian bistro, elevating the historic building to the heights of its period artistry. Chef Nancy Oake’s culinary creations are themselves works of art. Each French-influenced dish is like a sculpture, consisting of layered components in a delicate balance of color and flavor that is as pleasing to the eyes as it is to the taste buds. Dripping with Belle Époque glamour and the flowery beauty of Art Nouveau, Boulevard is a delightfully ostentatious escapade.
Took wife to blvds. for her b-day. Made reservations a week in advance. From then on our excitement grew, short drive into the city, perfect weather, dressed up a notch higher, as soon as we walked through the cool revolving door..boom..we were in awe from entrance greeting till we pulled into are driveway at home. 1st timers, foodies, my best restaurant experience ever. What a gem of a place -Cliff
It was my wife's birthday and we were going to arrive in San Francisco so I made a reservation at our favorite restaurant. The service and meals were outstanding and the special attention they paid to my wife was very special. We will be back.
The best of the best
Such a great restaurant in a great location. Anyone would really enjoy a meal at this restaurant.
I took my boyfriend up to San Fran for the weekend for his birthday. I asked around but nobody could give me a good restaurant to eat at for dinner. I got lots of suggestions for cocktails, tapas, beers, pub food, etc. so I looked up 10 top best restaurants in San Francisco and Boulevard was one of them. We had no idea what we were getting into. The restaurants style was very elegant. The menu was exciting. The wine list was interesting. So thumbs up. We will be coming back on our next trip. Thanks.
Your service is outstanding - bring the food back to that level - you're almost there - go for it!!!!!
I flew to SF just for the weekend to shop and dine with my wonderful fiance! We are somewhat spoiled with the many Southern CA dining venues, but I will add that Boulevard has a special ambience that isn't found in LA, not too mention some of the best Quail I have ever had. Once you leave the hustle of the City and enter Boulevard, you're embraced in a cozy, yet sophisticated atmosphere. I definitely will return to Boulevard!
