Located in the midst of row houses in the Mission District, Farina Focaccia and Cucina Italiana gives an authentic Northern Italian experience to patrons with its food, service and atmosphere. From Farina’s meats, cheeses and pastas, the menu is made almost entirely in-house, and you feel almost transported to “The Boot” and back with every meal. Prosciutto di San Daniele, Filetto di Pagello alla Ligure (Red Snapper filet) and Pansotti di Recco con pesto di noci (Pansotti pasta filled with ricotta cheese) are a few of the menu choices available on a daily basis for dinner 5:30 p.m. 10 p.m. Lighter options include Casseruola di Zucchini di Stagione (Sautéed summer zucchini), Insalata di pomodori locali e Scalogno (Heirloom tomato salad) and Fritto di Calamari fiori di zucchini (Fried Calamari) if you’re not feeling beef or pasta.
