Just a short walk from the Orpheum and the Golden Gate theaters, Lalita Thai Restaurant & Bar offer diners contemporary elegance in an intimate, candlelit setting. The lunch menu offers 10 specials for a set price from dishes such as Grilled Chicken, Grilled Rib Eye Steak, and Grilled Duck, to more intricate offerings such as Crispy Mushrooms and Prawns with Basil Sauce and Crispy Fish Fillet with Thai Plik King Sauce. Also available for lunch are traditional Thai entrees such as Yellow, Red, and Green Curry, Pad Phed, and Kraprow with your choice of protein. In addition, noodle soups, fried rice, and pan fried noodles are available for lunch. For dinner, Lalita has an even wider selection of dishes to choose from. Nearly 20 appetizers from Vegetable Egg Rolls to Grilled Mussels, traditional Thai soups such as Tom Kha and Tom Yum, and salads from Green Papaya to Crispy Jumbo Soft-shell Crab will whet any patron’s appetite with ease. The list of curries is just as diverse, from Pumpkin Curry and Rainbow Curry, to Panang and Musamun. Entrees range from Grilled Lamb Chops, 10 choices of seafood, eggplant, garlic, and ginger dishes, to fried rice, pan fried noodles and noodle soups. Lalita Thai has a full bar with Happy Hour from 3pm to 7pm, Monday thru Friday offering drink and appetizer specials.
