Outstanding dining experience...food, service and facility.
The server was excellent. The food was wonderful. It took a bit to get our food but it was worth the wait
Met the owner Brian and had a very nice conversation.
We stopped here for lunch based on a Trip Advisor review. The meal and experience was terrific and just what we were looking for after hiking around Fort Casey.
Love the food, service was friendly and timely. Like bring able to eat outside. Slightly expanded menu would be good but everything I have had has been excellent. Look forward to going again.
We had excellent food (salmon special, cioppino), drinks (manhattan, mojito), and service. The prices were reasonable, especially the drinks. Tables were arranged with ample distance between them, and all staff wore masks. When the restaurant was Christophers, we felt the place was quite noisy, but the Current Bistro has provided some baffles that make it quieter.
My friend and I enjoyed everything about our lunch at Currents! The food portions were large, nicely presented, and we enjoyed eating in the sunshine. We will definitely be back.
Food and service was excellent! The menu had been updated to include my favorite lunch choice, turkey and havarti sandwich. Very happy to see that.
Food is good as always. It was my husband’s first time eating there and he loved everything. We loved our waitress.
This is one of our main go to places, and we booked it for a special birthday with some of our oldest friends. We know the owner, and he was happy to greet us personally. And we have been there so often, the wait staff knows us - an added bonus. It's very consistent. The only main complaint (and we realize it's our uncommon criticism) is the portions are too big.
One of the best steak dinners I've ever had and her fish & chips were very good as well.
The food was great. The host/owner(?) was friendly and apologetic that we had to wait in spite of reservations - but between the pandemic and awful smoke, it’s hard to fault them for that. We did have to wait quite a while for our meal once we were seated and ordered, and it seemed by then the kitchen should have been more on-the-ball, but the meal was excellent.
Nice place - great food and service!
Wonderful mussels a short distance from the Port Townsend Ferry in Coupeville
Undercooked beans, chunks of broccoli and some unopened shellfish in a cioppino? Lackluster inattentive service. Great mussels though and pretty good fish and chips.
Inital arrival was welcoming and the food was good. The waitress seemed put upon though throughout the whole meal. Didn't ask if we wanted anything to drink and literally threw the check on the table. Overall it was ok.
