Restaurant was very cold. My husband wore his coat the entire time. The menu said the Ahi tuna salad included asparagus but none on my plate. Music was loud & made it hard to talk. Good concept restaurant tho.

What a beautiful experience and place. They really took time to create an experience. I will definitely go there again. The environment is perfect. My food was a good portion but just a bit lacked flavor. I wish they added more flavor. The drinks were amazing so was the service and music.

This was our second time coming. We went for brunch on Sunday and then again last night (Thursday) to celebrate our daughter's birthday. It was an amazing experience on both occasions. The brunch was a vibe! I can't wait to go back and bring my friends with me!

EXCELLENT food and service. The pink thing is a bit overdone and detracts from the food - it makes it seem like just girly place to party and drink. I think this is fine but if the decor were more neutral and grown up it would do better justice to what we thought was very good food at good prices. Our table was wobbly and too small for three - plus again, a tablecloth or nicer table would do the food justice. Also, the lighting in the second room is way too bright. All this said, I would come again for the food and the bubbly.

Enjoyed the experience. Really liked the DJ, however, found it hard to hear my friends as we sat at a table near the DJ so it was loud. I would consider repositioning the speakers . Table was small for 3 people, challenging to manage our plates and drinks on such a small surface. Food was good. The biscuits were delicious and the brunch was tasty, It is pricey so I would return for a special occasion!

One of my new favorite spots in Tacoma. I have already planned for my next trip back with a group of my girls. The owners were awesome. This new spot is perfect for a ladies lunch, brunch or meet up of any kind. The owner was super nice and welcoming. The atmosphere was on spot.
The price of the food is a bit much for what you get. If we're going to be splitting items, then the price per person should be significantly less. The drinks were SO good and I would pay those high prices again and again.

the cutest place and sweetest staff. one of the owners greeted my mom and i when we came in. we were a few minutes late due to finding parking and she took it upon herself before we got there to move our reservation down 15 minutes which i really appreciated! i took my mom in for her birthday and the owner gave her this really cute drink on the house (it was a little table side trick if you will) that’s not on the menu yet. we also got to try out some secret menu items the chef is testing out and gave our feedback. our server was also so sweet and cool (woman with blonde hair, unfortunately forgot her name) and gave us a little tour of the place when we were done with our meal. a very lovely experience and we will be returning!

Brunch at The Powder Room is an amazing experience, from the staff, to the decor to the amazing menu, it has it all. We went with our kids and my daughter loved the waffle tower, and my husband and I LOVED the Eggs Benedict (and the Bloody Mary and Champagne of course :). Really an amazing place all the way around. I already have reservations to go back this Friday!

It was such a treat to enjoy dinner with you on opening night!! Everything was wonderful, and I can’t wait for brunch today! I ordered the steak, which was delicious, and I especially loved the grilled vegetables! The chef grills them just like I do at home. Service was good. Employees were attentive although not overly friendly. Drink menu was impressive. Drinks prices were high, but not extraordinary. We loved the fun happy atmosphere and the food was absolutely amazing, some of the best food we have ever had in Tacoma! The only thing we were disappointed in was the very very small pours of champagne. The only reason I’m mentioning this is because we were all a bit shocked at the pour/price ratio. A comment was made at our table “ this could possibly hurt their business”. I don’t mean this comment in a criticizing way but a helpful way, it’s just what we noticed. Other than that, I can’t wait to go back go back for another delicious meal!

What a wonderful experience! The restaurant is so cute and Instagram worthy. Ivy was such a wonderful server! Service was uniform with the exception of the busser in a bralette. It actually wouldn’t have been that noticeable except the garment was continuously being adjusted.
Some training needed on table side mimosas (how many gummies). But the experience was so cute and interactive.
The biscuits were delicious. Like seriously yummy. The potatoes were a bit bland and I didn’t try the salad. Chorizo tacos were on point. Also, huge shout out to brunch punch. I could’ve done without the big strawberries in the drink plopping into glasses, but we couldn’t even taste the alcohol and they were deliciously stealthy.

I loved that it was the feel of a big city restaurant and vibe. The energy and DJ were great as was the owner who accommodated us. I wasn’t a huge fan of sitting next to the DJ (very loud) and there was very little table space for 3 of us especially if we had all ordered drinks. We also had a wait a bit to be seated which I was fine with but my friends were hungry. I appreciate such a fun new space in town!

We had a group of 5 and shared a champagne and a wine sampler, which were both excellent, before ordering beverages. The bees knees, and version of it with the bubbly finish were both disappointing.
We shared the hummus appetizer, which everyone thought was good, and a bread and cheese plate that was fine.
Two people got the gnocchi and both found it to be disappointing. It had so much chorizo in it it really should’ve been listed as a chorizo dish. It was oily, and the oil made the gnocchi mushy. Two people got the steak and one of them thought it was good and the other thought it was ok.
The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and beautiful.

The ambiance is great- it’s so cute and the cocktail presentation is wonderful. I wasn’t impressed with the food at all. The lettuce in my salad was soggy, the potatoes were all at the bottom of the plate and not good, and the ahi and dressing had no flavor at all. My friend and I both didn’t eat even half of our salads & we ordered different ones.

with a time allotment ....it was 40 minutes and we still hadn't been serve the appetizer ( smoked salmon on bread) There were only 3 other tables at that time I believe Chicken entree was good,with adistinctive flavor but the lack of any real meal additions was very noticeable.

This is rated for Brunch service. I came with a very dear friend (we are both in our low 60s) that was excited to experience this new restaurant in the Tacoma area. I had made a reservation online prior to the date and that was very easy to complete. Upon entering, the hostess found my reservation and we were escorted to our table (inner area of main dining seating. We did observe the tables were very tightly packed in, so much so that when the server came to take our order she had to squeeze in between the tables. This definitely was not appreciated when it came to her serving the table next to us and her dress/costume was brushing over our table where there were food plates. The seating arrangement made for a noisier experience and less ambience where you felt you should be relaxing and enjoying the company you are with. This kind of restaurant experience may need to be targeted to a more specific age range where that would probably be overlooked. Also, we felt that the food options were limited compared to the drink selections and were overpriced for the plate size.

The drinks, staff and atmosphere were phenomenal. You can definitely see a few kinks as it is a new business but nothing that won't be smoothed out with some time. The food was extremely disappointing. It was frustrating paying higher end prices for frozen vegetables and little salt. The ingredients tasted cheap and really lessened the experience.

The plates are too big for the size of table. Especially if, as a party of three, we are sat in one small table. It was surprising to hear the restaurant doesn’t have tea (despite offering brunch) and disappointing to learn they couldn’t even serve hot water….

The service was a bit slow. There seemed to be lots of people working but it was hard to get water refills, silverware etc. Food was tasty, maybe a bit small for the price but worth it.
Decor & vibe were cute & unique. Loved the photo booth QR code. Keep working out the kinks and I think it will be very special
