It was very nice. Maybe you could add some more snacks to the menu? And we were placed near the door, while the rest of the place was and stayed almost empty at that time so it would be nice to be seated somewhere else, with some distance to the door. But that are little things, we had a very good time that afternoon!

The staff was so kind to us and passionate about the whiskies. They gave us an amazing and fun experience. A few of us were not into whiskey that much, but as total noobs we learned to appreciate the craft. Also, the location and exterior of the malt vault makes you feel like you’ve found a hidden gem in Utrecht. Thank you for a great time!

My second visit. They still have an amazing selection of whisky, the top shelf is 1000% worth the money, and the server was fantastic. The venue is dimly lit and has a lovely atmosphere, the perfect place to enjoy a dram. (Note: Food is rated 10 because there wasn't a N/A option; I only had drinks this time, but the cheese platter I had in 2019 was great!)

Awesome place to go and experience new whiskys. Fun to do is that you can try 3 whisky's in a tasting experience. They have a lot of different styles and flavors to chose from and the staff is very welcoming and keen to help and advice you on your whisky selection. :)

It was my first time coming to the place. Me and my friend both enjoyed it a lot, the people working here are very kind, entertaining and know a lot about the whiskeys. Its a small but cozy place which fits the concept perfectly. The only thing that we struggled with was finding the place. But overal a great experience!

This is a really amazing place. Been there a few times, and every single experience is always very memorable and special ! The staff are totally incredible, feel like friends straight away. They even remember you if you come by another time ! No matter how long its been ! Which is really cool ! The inside area is really unique and nice ! And sitting on the outside too is just amazing. Really love this place, I would say my most loved place to come for drinks and a nice time here in my most loved City, Utrecht :) Cheers for the amazing drinks, service and memories ! :)

Absolutely loved everything about The Malt Vault. However the distance between tables, and trying to get to the toilet doesn't really seem 'Corona-proof'. If possible I'd like to see a little bit more space between people. Thanks for the amazing service and whiskey however, I'm absolutely coming back

Definitely my favorite bar if I go out it's very probable I'll end up here. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and knowledgeable people behind the bar, excellent selection of whiskey and accompanying food. Whiskey is expensive but the overall experience and the fact one glass will last a long time are definitely worth it.

Had a great night in the Malt Vault. We had travelled from Cologne in Germany and was running late . Still the owner managed to get us seated outside until a table became free . The “tables” of Whiskey were just great. Nothing was too much trouble for the owner . Great Night!! Will return !!

Het was even zoeken naar de ingang (beneden aan de gracht), maar wat een leuke plek! De bediening is super vriendelijk en neemt de tijd om de verschillende whiskey's uit te leggen. Het is en blijft een whiskey "vault" dus zijn er welkome bites maar verwacht geen uitgebreide (eet) menukaart. Voor ons absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar.. en wat ons betreft is de tasting "flight" echt een aanrader.

The overall experience would be certainly beter if pricing was more moderated . (Certainly the food prices are much to high) But knowledge of staffing and the collection of Spirits was great. And would us to visit the Malt Vault again. But at the present time, the small location, the amount of people they let in (a big and loud group of people at the bar) and the coved-19 virus makes a new visit the upcoming time not safe enough.
