Bastille Day is a National French holiday that takes place each year on July 14th, celebrating the storming of the Bastille fortress-prison, which marked the beginning of the French Revolution. Some of San Diego's most popular French Restaurants are showing their pride by providing diners with some tasty special menus in honor of Bastille Day. It is highly advised to make reservations early as tables fill up quickly.

Hexagone will have a 3-course Bastille Day Celebration Dinner Menu for $39.50 on Thursday July 14th. International Vocalist Chantal Roche will be performing "La Vie En Rose" accompanied by her pianist at 6:30pm. Keep in mind free underground parking is available at the corner of Laurel and 4th Avenue.

You can also catch Chantal Roche and her pianist, performing a number of French songs in honor of the holiday at Tapenade which will be held Saturday, July 16th, from 5:30pm-10:00pm. In addition to the entertainment, a 5-course Bastille Celebration Dinner Menu will be served for $68 a person.

On July 14th, Bo Beau Kitchen and Bar is celebrating in true French fashion by creating a menu at $58.95 a person. Need another reason to celebrate? Bo Beau is also celebrating its 4 Year anniversary!

With their comfortable ,friendly atmosphere and tasty French cuisine, it is no surprise that Bernard'O Restaurant is pulling out all of the stops for Bastille Day. Come down from Tuesday, July 12 to Saturday July 16 to enjoy their special Bastille Day Dinner Menu for $35 a person or with wine pairing for $49.50 per person.
