San Diego Mother's Day Restaurants

Mother’s Day is right around the corner! This year falling on May 11th so treat mom to a wonderful day and show her your love and appreciation. Moms do a lot for the whole family, let’s give them a day off from cooking and plan a memorable meal she will enjoy.

Italian Cuisine

Downtown / Gaslamp Quarter

Acqua Al 2 will have a special 3-course menu available all day for both lunch and dinner at the price of just $40.00 per person. 

Upscale Italian eatery BiCE Ristorante presents a four-course menu from 12:00p.m.to 8:30 p.m. for $42.99 per person. BiCE has a vast variety of items on their Mother’s Day menu, as well as a buffet of deserts created by Chef Francesca herself for your fourth course.

If you will be coming from the Padre game and are looking for something a bit more casual, head over to Toast Enoteca & Cucina. Toast is walking distance from Petco Park and will be celebrating moms with a 3 course dinner menu for $40.00 per person.

American Cuisine/Steak

Bertrand at Mister A’s in Banker's Hill offers a holiday prix-fixe menu for  $57.50 per person that is available for brunch between  10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Donovan’s of Downtown  and Donovan's of La Jolla will open early for dinner with the first seating starting at  3:00 p.m. and the last ending at 10:00 p.m.

The Prado at Balboa Park, offers its  Famous Buffet Brunch from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for $59.95 adults and $16.95  for children ages 6-12.

If you're looking to try something new, head over to the  Gaslamp Quarter and try The Melting Pot's four-course menu for $42.95per person,  from 12:00pm to 9:00pm. The Melting Pot offers a variety of fondue plates including cheese for appetizers  and chocolate for dessert. 

Shelter Island’s Humphreys famed Sunday brunch buffet will be available from  9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at $54.95 per adult with children (age 4-12) just $19.95.   

Seafood

Truluck's in La Jolla is well known for their popular seafood dishes, as well as Florida stone crab claws. With the Florida stone crab season coming to an end on May 15,  time is running out! Truluck's will be opening earlier for dinner starting at  12:00pm until 8:00pm. Truluck's has live entertainment daily, so why not treat mom to dinner and a show.

Blue Point Coastal Cuisine in Downtown, is spoiling moms with free  dinner with the purchase of two additional entrees. Blue Point will be open for a limited menu between 1:00pm and 5:00pm and will begin serving their regular menu from 5:00pm-8:00pm

The Chart House in Cardiff and Peohe's in beautiful Coronado will be serving their regular brunch menu from 9am to 9pm.

French Cuisine

Mille Fleurs in Rancho Santa Fe is known for their romantic atmosphere and authentic French cuisine. They will be having an ala carte brunch from 10:30am to 2pm and their regular menu beginning at 6pm.

If you’re not venturing to the coast, cruise over to Bernard’O in Rancho Bernardo. They will be offering a brunch from 10:30am to 2:30pm and dinner from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Bernard’O will also be having live entertainment!
