The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival

Spring Festival

Celebrate the long-awaited visit of spring, and the promise of summer to come, this weekend at the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival. On Saturday, May 21st, Philadelphia is taking to the streets to soak up some much-needed sun, culture, music, art, and food. In addition to the live bands, fashion shows, and entertainment acts lining the pavement along Walnut St. and 18th St. (from 19th to Broad St.), this annual fest promises a heaping helping of great gourmet food stands.

Seven of Starr Restaurant Group’s culinary darlings will be present to offer visitors street-side servings of their famous fare. Alma De Cuba, Barclay Prime, Butcher and Singer, and others will draw in the crowds on the 1800 block of Walnut St. with their culinary creations and live demonstrations hosted by a number of Starr’s top chefs. And in addition to the prospect of munching on some seriously satisfying treats, festival goers can also plan to do some good—participating Starr restaurants are teaming up with Philabundance to fight hunger in the Delaware Valley region. Donate non-perishable food items at any of the Starr Group booths to be entered into a drawing to either win one Dinner-for-Two at the Starr restaurant of your choice or one Dinner-for-Four catered entirely by the Starr Group.

The Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival runs from 12:00pm-5:00pm on May 21st. Grab your gourmet grub fast that day because the Starr Group’s stock of savory delights gets plundered every year.
