The Red Tile Inn has been owned by Mac and Rachel McKenzie since July 2015, we are a family run pub serving homecooked pub grub. we have real Ales and fine Wines. We welcome dogs of all sizes. We have a skittle alley free to use by all our customers when it’s not in use by our thriving Skittle league. The Inn was opened in 1861 and named The Cossington Inn, it changed to The Red Tile in 1980.

The Star Inn is a friendly pub with a welcoming bar, log fire and good food to go with good beer. In the summer the large beer garden is open and well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome throughout the pub. The Star Inn was first documented as the Royal Oak in 1794, the first landlord was Josiah Watts 1794 – 1808. Robert Stoate closed and reopened the pub during 1825 as the Star Inn. During it’s history the pub was owned by the Egremont trustees in the 1870’s then the Wyndham Estate in the 1890’s. The Star Inn …
