A Taste of the Holidays: One Night Only, Food and Wine Event at The French Gourmet

It's that time of year again! The French Gourmet will be holding its most popular event of the year, this Monday, December 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Holiday Bubbly and Bordeaux Tasting Event brings Francophiles, wine enthusiasts, and foodies together for a night of hefty hors d’oeuvres, jovial champagne, sparkling wines, and some of the finest Bordeaux wines The French Gourmet has to offer.

This special, one-night-only tasting costs $39 per person and includes succulent trays of hors d’oeuvres, samplings of wine, and specialty food stations. This year, guests can look forward to treats like Smoked Salmon and Goat Cheese Quiche or Duck Confit au Cassis, with Wild Rice, Sautéed Celeriac Root and Green Beans.  The bakery portion of the restaurant will be represented too, in the form of Mini Chocolate Eclairs, Fruit Tarts, and Croquembouche Cream Puffs. 

This Pacific Beach favorite never disappoints with its regular menu and bakery, so an event like The Holiday Bubbly and Bordeaux Tasting is not one to be missed. The rustic environment inside the straw colored, yellow building authentically reflects the French countryside, so tasters will feel completely immersed in the Bordeaux wine culture.
