Blue Point makes dining a charitable experience this fall, when it launches a special menu series that donates a portion of the proceeds to several foundations. The series starts in October, the month that has been dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness. In honor of this, Blue Point has made a four-course “Ode to Lobster” menu at $75 per person with 20% of proceeds donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Diners can also opt for wine pairings at an extra charge of $15.
The meal starts with a Fried Lobster Ravioli and moves into the second course, a choice of Tanimura Farms Mixed Greens or Lobster Bisque. The third course offers three options: Lobster Fra Diavlo Spaghettini, Tempura Maine Lobster Tail, and Lobster Risotto. The meal ends with a Chocolate Lava Cake complemented by Mandarin Ice Cream. Partaking in an indulgent meal can often leave diners with a feeling of guilt, but with the help of Blue Point, diners can offset this with the knowledge that they are helping out a great charity.
