Late Night Dining In Las Vegas

Seared Ahi and wine

After a fantastic evening of clubbing, laughing, dancing, and touring the strip, you and your friends realize that it’s almost 1am and frankly, you’re starving.  Where do you go? What’s open? What kind of food do you want? Your group inevitably stands around tossing ideas back and forth, not entirely making a decision beyond the fact that you’re all hungry, your feet hurt, and what you would really like to do at that moment is sit down, grab some food, and drink some water. Surely, being the “city that never sleeps,” Vegas has plenty of venues open all night or at least until just past dawn for you to enjoy good food- right? Of Course! The following are a list of great places to head to when the clock strikes midnight and the hours thereafter.

Grand Lux Café

The Grand Lux Café resides inside the Venetian Hotel and boasts an extensive menu that is served 24 hours a day. The menu has everything from salads and burgers to pasta, pizza, dessert, champagne, and more.  This café keeps its guests feeling as though they were sitting in a French or Italian café enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. The café also offers relaxing booths to dine at as well as a bar.  Grand Lux provides lunch specials and a décor “fit for gods.”  The lush golden lighting and coloring provide a glowing ambiance uplifting those who dine at Mt. Olympus.

SUSHISAMBA

Open until 1am most nights and later on weekends, SUSHISAMBA is an urban twist on traditional Japanese cuisine.  The restaurant serves up many signature creations as well as old favorites.  Unique dishes include the Green Envy and the Neo Tokyo rolls and the Sashimi Ceviche made with varying types of seafood.  Among classics, you will find a full sushi bar in addition to SUSHISAMBA’s already extensive menu of appetizers, salads, oysters, and entrees. The restaurant’s décor is reminiscent of the Samba dance’s continuous circular motion and is appropriately built in the round.  SUSHISAMBA fuses Japanese cuisine with Latin flavor providing guests with a unique and rather hip experience.  The trendy venue is situated inside the Palazzo hotel on The Strip, and is sure to please the senses and appetite.

RA Sushi

Reverse happy hour here we come! Sitting just across from the Palazzo and Wynn Resorts on the exterior of The Fashion Show Mall, is RA Sushi. RA’s kitchen stays open until 12am nightly and will typically keep their bar open until 1am, if not later.  Their menu is stocked with some of the most creative sushi recipes along with unique entrees and appetizers.  Sake, plum wine, and their signature green tea are great complements to any dish you choose.  The décor is modern Asian in style with its black and red color scheme and lantern lit dining room.  The restaurant buzzes with excitement during reverse happy hour and has plenty of seating be it at the bar, one of their wooden tables, or a leather booth.  RA is a great option for a late night protein boost before or after your clubbing/nightlife extravaganza begins.

Margaritaville

It’s 5 o’clock somewhere in the world, and that place is Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.  Located on the outer edge of the Flamingo Hotel and Casino, Margaritaville serves up some tasty treats - be it a cocktail or a midnight snack. Open until 3am, Jimmy Buffet music plays all night and sometimes, you can even catch Jimmy himself chilling or performing.  The restaurant’s décor is that of a beach vacation.  There are indoor palm trees and beachscapes, as well as a ship’s mast and deck that truly take you out to sea. The ambiance is casual, friendly, and welcoming all guests to paradise. Margaritaville is known for their specialty margaritas and they are sure not to disappoint. The venue’s relaxed atmosphere transports each patron from the Vegas Strip to an exotic island on which they can sit and unwind.

Café Bellagio

Located inside the luxurious Bellagio Hotel, in the garden area just beyond the lobby’s famous floral glass ceiling, sits Café Bellagio.  This beautiful café serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner 24 hours a day!  Café Bellagio overlooks the pool deck and is open to the lush garden of color and fountain artistry that sits in the rear lobby.  When dining at one of their larger tables at the café’s front, guests feel as if they are eating on a French Riviera terrace.  The atmosphere is relaxed and provides a much needed break from the hustle and bustle of The Strip.  Whether you’re looking for a salad, midnight mimosa and eggs, coffee and crème brulee, or just some fresh fruit with a bowl of oatmeal, you have surely come to the right place.

Lobby Bar and Café at Encore

Whether you’re looking for another cocktail, a pastry, or just need a shot or two of espresso, the Encore’s Lobby Bar and Café is the place for you. The café stays open until 3am most week nights and 4am on weekends.  In addition, its soft couches and luxurious furniture offer an artistic and relaxing place to dine and recuperate from a long night’s activities or start the beginning of new festivities.  The café is conveniently located near guest elevators allowing for easy access to food and drink and is among Vegas’ lower profile venues offering late night comfort food. The cafe’s cuisine is simple and modern American in style and serves a variety of quick bites versus full entrees.
