Chef Deborah Scott has redefined weekend brunch so that it's no longer a possibility but an absolute necessity. Located in Little Italy, Indigo Grill is offering an unforgettable weekend brunch from 9:30am-1:30pm every Saturday and Sunday. Showcasing Chef Scott's rustic culinary talents, her brunch menu starts with polished selections of cocktails to make any morning electrifying and eccentric entree selections that incorporate flavors and ingredients that truly speak for themselves. Start your meal with a Blueberry-Pomegranate Margarita and melt away with the Pineapple Upside French Toast with dark rum syrup, cardamom ice cream and Jimmy's chicken sausage. With scrumptious selections of brunch courses embodying the savory and sweet, Indigo Grill is the perfect start to a divine day.

For a traditional family gathering, Blue Point Coastal Cuisine offers a special Family Style Sunday for lovers of all things from the sea. As a renowned hotspot for fresh seafood in the Gaslamp district, Blue Point pays special attention to the seafood delicacies that are showcased in their bountiful Family Style platter of live Maine lobster, Chesapeake Bay blue crab, mussels, shrimp, and redfish. For $39.95 per person, you can devour these fresh seafood creations which also comes served with family-style mixed baby greens, corn on the cob, andouille sausage, red potatoes, and fresh bread. For those not daring enough to devour seafood family style, a Fresh Catch 3-Course menu is also available for dinner, any night of the week. For $35.95 a person, this award-winning menu gives you the freedom to select three entrees, and an optional wine pairing for $15. Even if you can't make it this Sunday, these specials are happening all summer long for your dining enjoyment.

It's a known fact that everyone has a secret to grilling the perfect steak, so why not dine at a restaurant that believes in your ability to do just that? At this 21 and up steak lounge, Gaslamp Strip Club offers a "naked" steak where every diner can flaunt their culinary abilities of grilling their chosen piece of quality meat. Although Gaslamp Strip Club offers nightly specials Sunday-Thursday, Sunday's special is most definitely noteworthy. Steakhouse Sundays offers a 4-course "Grill your Own" Steak Dinner for $24.95. Although you are expected to prepare your main entree, no need to fret, all other courses are prepared for you. Maybe you'll choose traditional steakhouse sides with your grilled creation, such as the Creamed Spinach or Roasted Garlic Potatoes. Dessert will be hard to resist, so don't go overboard with the first three courses.

Incidentally, with the same premise as Gaslamp Strip Club, La Jolla Strip Club offers the unique feature of grilling your own steak, but in a different location. Make no mistake, although the grill-it-yourself concept is the same, these restaurants offer completely varied menus and weeknight specials. For a proper kickoff of summer, La Jolla Strip Club is offering a Beef & Brew Summer BBQ on Wednesday, August 31st starting at 6:00pm. A 4-course meal paired with a diverse selection of craft beers, vintage ales and special releases from Stone Brewer will be served for just $39.95 a person. Executive Chef James Stephenson will be sharing secrets of seasoning and grilling techniques all while tasting delicious variations of steak and beer.

Grandly situated with views of San Diego's skyline and the city of Coronado, Island Prime offers a Sunset Dining Menu that blends fine dining with the simplicity of nature's beauty for an impeccable experience for anyone. From 5:30pm-6:30pm Monday through Thursday, Executive Chef Deborah Scott has a 3-course sunset dining menu with shared dessert for just $40 a person. With entree selections of savory seafood, beef and poultry courses, this sunset menu is sure to enhance your evening at this exemplary token of Harbor Island. Dining early to catch the sunset has tremendous perks for anyone deciding to spend their evening at Island Prime but without question, a reservation will be necessary.

For those not able to make it for an early dinner, The Prado at Balboa Park has the perfect remedy. Travel to San Diego's beautiful and famous Balboa Park for a late dinner excursion that will make any meal worth waiting for. The Prado is offering a special Dinner After 8 on Tuesday-Thursday for a special 3-course menu. Executive Chef Jonathon Hale has a special menu prepared for just $34 per person with main entree selections of Seabass with bacon, cauliflower, forest mushrooms, seabeans and red wine jus. A divine Forest Mushroom Risotto or Slow Roasted Pork Prime Rib is also offered on this After 8 Menu. Dinner After 8 is a truly special experience for those opting for a late dinner date this summer. This special menu is only offered in the main dining room and reservations are required.

Groundbreaking and innovative, 333 Pacific offers exquisite selections of fine seafood and steak selections while marveling the views of the Oceanside Pier. With both an impressive menu and stylish decor,  333 Pacific is serving up a noteworthy event on August 28st. The 333 Pacific Svedka Sunday Social will celebrate the sunset on the Ocean View Terrace, where Executive Chef Brian Hyre will present a variety of appetizers paired with signature Svedka cocktails. Come enjoy tasty treats, enticing libations, and satisfying company from 5:30pm-8:30pm on the 28th, for $33 per person. With all this sensory goodness, reservations will go fast.
