Roll Out The Barrel at Humphrey's

Since 1983, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has been granting the requests of children with life-threatening medical conditions in order to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy.  Since 1979, Humphrey’s has been offering fine dining with a spectacular bay view -- as well as hosting San Diego’s premier outdoor concert series -- to visitors and natives alike.  On May 8th, the San Diego Chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation will be hosting their 2nd annual “Roll Out The Barrel” fundraising event at Humphrey’s open air venue, nuzzled between the marina and the botanical gardens.  

This year, international artisan wines will be paired with cuisine presented by some of San Diego’s finest restaurants including Humphrey’s, The Brigantine, Isabel’s Cantina, Sally’s, and more.  Spanish modern guitarist David Maldonado and the band “Noche de Pasion” will be providing live entertainment on the Humphrey’s stage and live and silent auctions with unique items will take place throughout the event.  VIP tickets are available for sale that grant access to a private VIP after party where guests will be able to meet David Maldonado, as well as sample exclusive wines from high-end wineries.  With all the wine flowing at the event, Humphrey’s will be offering a special room rate of $139 for a standard king size bed, just in case of over-indulgence.

The event will be taking place on May 8th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Humphrey’s Concerts by the Bay, located at 2441 Shelter Island Drive.  Regular tickets are $100 apiece and a limited number of VIP tickets will be available for $175 per person.  To purchase tickets, please visit MakeAWishGala.com.
