Terra is Serving Up Beer by the Plate and Pint

Dinner Specialty

This year, San Diego Beer Week kicks off on November 4th and lasts through November 13th. All around the city, beer enthusiasts are preparing themselves for this annual 10-day celebration of all things hoppy. Terra American Bistro is no exception, dedicating two evenings for honoring local craft cuisine and brews. Terra Executive Chef and Owner Jeff Rossman has created two all-inclusive tasting menus that pair his fine farm-to-table fare with beer tastings from two notable breweries in the region.

The Manzanita Brewing Co. takes center stage on November 7th, with Terra’s Manzanita Dinner—this five-course tasting menu not only presents guests with consecutive plates of Chef Rossman’s culinary delights, but pairs them with five of Manzanita’s finest brews. Dinner commences with the Butternut Squash Gnocchi and continues on through the courses to a sweet finale with the Lemongrass-Star Anise Ice Cream and Pumpkin Spice Cake. A couple of the accompanying pours include the Rustic Horizon Red Ale and Pumpkin Ale. Look HERE for all the tasty details. The Manzanita Dinner takes place on November 7th, at 6:00pm. The all-inclusive meal costs $60 per person and seats are limited.

Like we’ve always said, beer and brunch go together like, well, beer and brunch—brilliance in the glass and on the plate. Terra is taking direct inspiration from six of Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits’ signature brews to create its special Ballast Point Brunch on November 12th. This all-inclusive mid-day feast features six exquisitely creative courses and beer pairings. The Smoked Duck French Toast is served alongside the Piper Down Scottish Ale “Bourbon Barrel Aged” and the Sour Wench Blackberry Ale. To see the full Ballast Point Brunch Menu, click HERE. Seating begins at 11:00am on November 12th for this not-to-be-missed brunch. All six courses and beer pairings are included for only $45 per person, and reservations will go fast.

Celebrate San Diego’s award-winning craft beer culture this Beer Week the way it should be celebrated: with countless smiles, fond memories, and pints. And visit Terra American Bistro to pair all of this with food that deserves its own week!
