Sultry jazz music and classic rock have a home on the Sambuca stage and menu. The dinner club’s eclectic European design and the outdoor lounge’s fishbowl views of performers allow diners to revel in the rich and satisfying sounds and flavors that greet them. Characteristic notes marry with custom riffs on the welcoming and energetic menu to create unforgettable dishes. Sambuca favorites include the Lobster Gnocchi, the Cowboy Cut Bone-In 18 oz Ribeye, and the Seabass Skewers. And nothing is lost on the meal’s crescendo: The Butterfinger Bread Pudding is just one of the rockin’ desserts to choose from.

Bask in Lavendou’s warm and welcoming French countryside décor, and let yourself slip into the mindset of someone truly enjoying the moment. Rustic archways of exposed brick and lively tablecloth fabrics of blues and yellows help cement the feeling of being on holiday, and the southern French cuisine menu convinces the palate it is in another time zone. The Foie Gras En Terrine au Sauternes is a decadent expression of flavor, while the Grilled Tilapia Provencal speaks of seemingly effortless freshness. “High Tea” is also a daily event, and is another fine touch of French hospitality.

Nick and Sam’s Grill opened as a spinoff of Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse, also located in Dallas. Owners Joseph Palladino and Phil Romano wanted to capture the ambiance and experience of the original Steakhouse, but at a more affordable price. Patrons can enjoy a mouthwatering New York Strip Steak with some famous “Nick and Sam’s Damn Good Fries” either indoors or out on the patio. Between both restaurants, the resemblance of the dining experience is uncanny. Personal parties can be hosted as well but usually at a reservation request.

Classic chic defines both the lighthearted sophistication of Al Biernat’s décor and menu. The menu redefines what it means to be a steakhouse by catering to taste over convention. From the varied selection of cut size to the amount of marbling in the meat, every care is taken to ensure patrons savor the steak they hoped for.

Tickle your Godfather funny bone and visit Campisi’s Restaurant, which opened in 1946. Boasting legitimate ties to the Italian mafia syndicate in Dallas, Campisi’s fed the likes of Jack “Sparky” Ruby the eve of JFK’s assassination – Ruby was suspected of killing Lee Harvey Oswald two days later. But don’t let the impressive history steel the thunder from this restaurant’s home-style menu – the Campisi’s Antipesto Supreme has sliced provolone, salami, Sicilian olives, and pepperoncini peppers, and the Chicken Spinach Alfredo Pizza is made with provolone cheese. Revisit a notorious time in history while giving your stomach a meal to …
