We’re open every day from 9am – 4pm (last orders for hot food at 3pm). Our friendly staff look forward to serving you in one of our many dining spaces inside or outdoors. We have indoor & outdoor children’s play areas for young ones to let off steam and an undercover dog-friendly area as well as our dog friendly cabin so no one gets left behind! Our delicious breakfasts and lunches are a treat for the whole family, with options including full English breakfast to sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup, and our fabulous daily specials. Saffron Walden's first Community-run free house pub based just to the south of the town centre (5 mins walk). Please note that we are predominantly a pub and not a restaurant. We have food trucks at the pub on Thursday evenings (5 to 8.00pm) but seating is on a first come, first served basis. Table bookings are only possible for the Sunday Quiz. We are a spacious, airy restaurant with stunning views of the Estuary. Inside seating for up to 220 customers and outside dining available on our deck (weather permitting).
