A taste of Brazil at the Miracle Mile

Pampas Churrascaria is a slice of traditional Brazilian Gaucho fare located in the heart of the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Every cut of meat is prepared in the traditional gaucho way, spit-roasted with simple seasonings, utilizing a traditional brick “Rodizio” grill. Pampas Churrascaria offers diners plenty of culinary options for devout carnivores, seafood lovers, and even vegetarians.

The restaurant opens for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The morning menu includes options such as Two Eggs Any Style, the Country Scramble with grilled ham and cheddar cheese, and the Steak and Eggs. All three are served with breakfast potatoes, fresh baked breakfast pastry, and the choice of smoked bacon or breakfast sausage. In addition, the vanilla-cinnamon battered French Toast is presented with smoked bacon or breakfast sausage as well. The Smoked Salmon Platter includes a bagel and cream cheese and fresh fruit, while the Fresh Fruit Platter with Yogurt, which comes with granola and a fresh baked breakfast pastry, rounds out the offerings to get the day started right.

Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m. Appetizer selections consist of the Malagueta Pork Ribs, Shrimp Cocktail, and Wings with Azeite. Rodizio service begins mid-day, and includes Special Rodizios such as The Ultimate Surf and Turf, which allows guests unlimited servings of not only fresh seafood, but also grilled meats including picanaha, BBQ pork, grilled chicken, smoked ham and pineapple, Brazilian sausage and turkey wrapped in bacon. The Meat Rodizio is the “Turf” side of The Ultimate, and the Vegetarian Rodizio features skewered Roma tomatoes, zucchini, squash, peppers, and portabella mushrooms seasoned with sea salt and olive oil. All Rodizios are hand carved tableside in traditional Brazilian fashion, and they also include unlimited samplings from the salad bar featuring over 50 hot and cold sides and salads to complete the dining experience.

During lunch, Seafood Skewers such as Gulf Shrimp, New England Lobster Tail, and Pacific Scallops are served a la carte, as is the buffet side bar. Other specials include Fish and Chips, Skirt Steak seasoned with chimichurri sauce and served with rice and black beans, as well as Chicken Parmesan. Sandwiches are available and served with a choice of Caesar salad or French fries, and options such as the Steak Sandwich, Grilled Salmon Sandwich, Sausage and Roasted Tomato Sandwich, and the Vegetable Sandwich, prepared with portabella mushroom and roasted peppers, allow lunch goers plenty to choose from.

At 4:30 p.m. the Dinner menu expands upon the Lunch offerings. Appetizers like the Chicken Teriyaki, Steamed Mussels and Frango Taquitos will whet the appetite, and Dinner Entrées offer a wide range of Brazilian dishes. The Brazilian Bouillabaisse will delight fans of seafood, with its lobster, shrimp, fresh fish, and mussels in a seafood broth mixed with fresh tomato sauce, coconut milk, and cilantro all served over pasta. Should patrons desire a steak dinner the grilled Rib Eye Steak with blackened Cajun-style seasonings is an ideal candidate, while the Beef Tenderloin and Filet Mignon served with Madeira glaze make for excellent choices as well. The Grilled Chicken Breast is seasoned with olive oil, fresh herbs, and grilled garlic, and is served with steamed rice and grilled vegetables. The Fresh Catch of the Day, prepared with Brazilian sea salt, olive oil, and lemon is served with grilled melon and fresh vegetables. The vegetarian option, the Mushroom and Chinese Broccoli Primavera, features portabella mushroom raviolis sautéed with red onions, Chinese broccoli, fresh tomatoes, garbanzo beans, sea salt, olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil, and is served with a side of feta cheese. All dinner entrées include a choice of fresh salad bar or Caesar salad, as well as French fries or mashed potatoes.

Pampas has a large main dining room and features several private dining options as well. They can host special events with a wide range of private dining menu options. They also offer customized a la carte menus, as well as vegetarian and gluten free options. Finally, should the event call for libations, Pampas offers a hosted open bar.
