Saffron Walden's first Community-run free house pub based just to the south of the town centre (5 mins walk). Please note that we are predominantly a pub and not a restaurant. We have food trucks at the pub on Thursday evenings (5 to 8.00pm) but seating is on a first come, first served basis. Table bookings are only possible for the Sunday Quiz. Our marquee is classed as an outside venue so we are still allowed up to 6 people on a table from different familes, however we do ask that you always wear a facemask when you enter and leave the building and also when you visit the toilets. Drinks are ordered via your smartphone and delivered to your table, there is no reason for you to go to the bar. Last orders are at 21:30 and the premises must be vacated no later than 22:00.
